Earlier today, world #1 Novak Djokovic defeated Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta 4-6 6-2 6-3 6-4 to move opn to his 10th Roland Garoos semi-final.
A month ago, Novak had been in a tight contest with Busta at the US Open, where he suffered his first loss of the year after accidently striking a line judge with a ball after a game.
Nole had to fight off a few physical ailments, specifically his neck (which he had a large bandage on) and forearm.
Novak will play Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals Friday, with Nadal’s semi-final match against Diego Schwartzman happening before.
