Steady Freddy drops 54 points in Raptor’s win

Fred VanVleeet scored 54 points in Toronto’s victory over the Orlando Magic Tuesday night, setting a new franchise points record for the Raptors.

Fred passed Demar DeRozan’s Raptor record of 53 points with the massive scoring effort (VanVleet scored nearly half of the Raptor’s points).

DeRozan tweeted out this following the Raptors win:

VanVleet finished 17-for-23 from the field, including 11-for-14 on 3-pointers, and 9-for-9 from the free throw line. He also had 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks in 37 minutes for Toronto, which swept a two-game series with Orlando.

Toronto now heads out east to play the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.
