For those entering into the final week of the regular season in their respective fantasy baseball pools, Week 7 is of vital importance. The results at the end of this week determine who goes on to the playoffs and who begins their pre-draft rankings for 2021. If you’re having a great year thus far, keep doing what you’ve been doing, however, if your team includes Tesocar Hernandez, Mike Soroka, Stephen Strasburg, or Anthony Santander, I have some pick ups that may worth your while.
Pitchers toeing the rubber tonight include Walker Buehler, Triston McKenzie, Sixto Sanchez, and Lance Lynn.
Sixto will be the most interesting to watch of the bunch, as his fastball regularly hits triple digits and has one of the nastiest change ups in the MLB.
If most of your team is living on the IL, the hot pick ups this week include Rowdy Tallez, who played a big role in the Blue Jay’s 10-run inning last night, Randy Arozarena of the Rays, and Victor Reyes of the Tigers. Also, if your bleeding in the SP category, Tony Gonsolin of the Dodgers, Kevin Guasman of the Giants, and Ian Anderson of the Braves are all waiver wire pickups I would recommend.
